Background

This site tells the story of two Euro-Canadians, looking for a continental analogue to their beloved Canadian wilderness & cottage country (think a hunt for Muskoka or Niagara on the lake with better wine) for a weekend escape, who fortuitously stumbled upon a house in need of some TLC and the heritage, viticulture and romance of Bourgogne. The site will include a mix of wine writing, French country house renovation trials and tall tales, along with general anecdotes and visual inspiration. Thanks for reading!
